Albignac ( Occitan : Albinhac ) is a French commune with 254 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Corrèze department of the Limousin region on the western edge of the Massif Central . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Brive-la-Gaillarde and the canton of Midi Corrézien .

Albignac is the original seat of the extensive aristocratic family of the same name.

The municipality of Albignac is about 14 kilometers east of Brive-la-Gaillarde . The western and southern municipal boundaries form the Roanne , a left tributary of the Corrèze . The village itself is located at about 330 m a.s.l., 120 meters above the Roanne river valley. The district of Flaugeat belongs to Albignac .
