The Haute-Corrèze Communauté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Corrèze and Creuse in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on September 15, 2016 and comprises 71 parishes. The administrative seat is in Ussel . The specialty lies in the cross-departmental structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of

with access to another ten municipalities of the Communauté de communes de Bugeat-Sornac-Millevaches au Cœur .

In the course of the merger, the municipalities of Sarroux and Saint-Julien-près-Bort merged to form the Commune nouvelle Sarroux-Saint Julien .
