Beissat is a municipality in the Massif Central in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Creuse department , the Aubusson arrondissement and the Auzances canton .

geography

The municipality is located in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park . It borders Magnat-l'Étrange to the north, Malleret to the east, Saint-Oradoux-de-Chirouze to the south and La Courtine to the west . The Rozeille river feeds a small reservoir that lies in the districts of Beissat and Magnat-l'Étrange.
