Chard is a municipality in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France . It belongs to the Creuse department , the Aubusson arrondissement and the Auzances canton . It borders in the northwest on Châtelard , north to Les Mars , in the northeast and to the east by Dontreix , to the south Mérinchal and to the west Lioux-les-Monges .
