geography

The municipality is bordered by Saint-Silvain-Bellegarde to the north, La Villetelle to the east, Saint-Pardoux-d'Arnet to the south and Néoux to the west . The departmental roads D38 and D941 cross in Saint-Avit-de-Tardes . The latter is a trunk road. The Tardes comes from the east and flows north.
