Bellegarde-en-Marche is a municipality in the Massif Central in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Creuse department and the Aubusson arrondissement . It was the main town (chief lieu) of the canton Bellegarde-en-Marche until 2015 and was then defeated to the canton Aubusson .

The former 22 km long Route nationale 688 leads via Bellegarde-en-Marche. The municipality is bordered by Saint-Silvain-Bellegarde to the north, east and south and La Chaussade and the enclave of Saint-Alpinien to the west .
