It borders Parsac-Rimondeix and Gouzon to the north, Saint-Chabrais to the east, Chénérailles and Saint-Pardoux-les-Cards to the south and Cressat to the west .

There are a few small lakes in the municipality and it is touched by the Goze River . The Verraux River runs along the western border of the municipality . The Ahun - Montluçon railway runs through Saint-Dizier-la-Tour, but has no train station there.
