geography

The 32-kilometer former Route nationale 716 ends in Boussac-Bourg . The municipality is bordered to the northwest by Bussière-Saint-Georges , to the north by Saint-Marien , to the northeast by Saint-Pierre-le-Bost , to the east by Leyrat , to the south by Boussac and Saint-Silvain-Bas-le-Roc and in the southwest at Malleret-Boussac .

history

The town north of the canton capital (Chef-lieu) is also called Boussac-le-Château because of the castle built in the 15th century . During the French Revolution and from April 1806 to 1847 it was called Boussac-les-Eglises .
