The municipality borders on Blessac to the north, Aubusson to the north-east, Saint-Quentin-la-Chabanne to the east and south, Vallière to the south-west and Saint-Michel-de-Veisse to the north-west .

Attractions
Chameyroux and Villescot have Romanesque features. There is a chapel in Saint-Roch , dating from the 18th century. The local church of Saint-Marc is also Romanesque. The castle of Saint-Marc-à-Frongier dates back to the 15th century.
