Johann Kredel (politician)

Johann Peter Kredel (born November 5, 1856 in Airlenbach ; † July 18, 1920 there ) was a Hessian landowner and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johann Kredel was the son of the landowner Johann Wilhelm Kredel and his wife Katharina Elisabethe, née Schäfer. Kredel, who was Protestant, was a landowner in Airlenbach and married Katharina nee Scheuermann.

From 1908 until the November Revolution of 1918 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 1 / Beerfelden-Hirschhorn-Wimpfen . His predecessor in the state parliament was Heinrich Breimer . He was also mayor of Airlenbach in 1892.
