Saint-Maixant is a commune in the Massif Central in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Creuse department , the Aubusson arrondissement and the Aubusson canton . It is bordered by Alleyrat to the west, Saint-Médard-la-Rochette to the northwest , Puy-Malsignat and Champagnat to the northeast, Bosroger and La Chaussade to the east and Saint-Amand and Aubusson to the south .
