Toulx-Sainte-Croix

Toulx-Sainte-Croix is a commune in the Massif Central in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Creuse department , the Aubusson arrondissement and the Boussac canton . It borders in the north-west on Malleret-Boussac , in the north on Saint-Silvain-Bas-le-Roc , in the east on Lavaufranche , in the south-east on Bord-Saint-Georges , in the south Trois-Fonds , in the south-west on Saint-Silvain-sous -Toulx and to the west at Clugnat . The residents call themselves Toullois .

history

Toulx-Sainte-Croix was a Gallo-Roman village called Tullum, which was protected by a six meter thick wall. The houses were thatched with thatched roofs.
