Sarroux - Saint Julien is a commune in France . It belongs there to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Corrèze department , the Ussel arrondissement and the Haute-Dordogne canton . The inhabitants call themselves the Sarrousiens.

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2017 by a decree of June 22, 2016, in which the previous municipalities of Sarroux and Saint-Julien-près-Bort were merged and are now Communes deleguées . Sarroux has been the main town (Chef-lieu) since then.

Neighboring municipalities are Thalamy in the north, Monestier-Port-Dieu in the northeast, Lanobre in the east, Bort-les-Orgues and Madic in the southeast, Saint-Pierre in the south, Sérandon in the southwest, Roche-le-Peyroux and Liginiac in the west as well as Margerides and Saint-Bonnet-près-Bort in the north-west.
