The wash house (French lavoir ) in Dormelles , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1873.

The stone masonry washhouse is located on the Orvanne River . It has a rare device that allows the wooden floor to be raised or lowered to match the level of the water.
