Dormelles is a French municipality with 806 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau and the Canton of Nemours .

history
During one of the Merovingian Fraternal Wars , a battle between the Neustrian troops of Chlothar II and the Burgundian-Austrasian coalition took place here in 600 . Chlothar was defeated and had to withdraw.
