The Canton Nemours is a French canton in the arrondissement of Fontainebleau and Provins , in the Seine-et-Marne and the region Ile-de-France ; its main place is Nemours . Claude Jamet ( DVG ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2011 .

The canton of Nemours is 694.95 km² and has (2017) 59,228 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 85 inhabitants per km².

Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​189.17 km ² .
