The canton of Brie-Comte-Robert was a French constituency that existed until 2015 in the Arrondissement Melun , in the Département Seine-et-Marne and in the Region Île-de-France ; its main town was Brie-Comte-Robert . From 2001, André Aubert ( PS ) was the representative in the General Council of the Department .

The canton of Brie-Comte-Robert was 145.04 km² and in 1999 had 37,160 inhabitants.

history

The canton was reduced in size in the course of the creation of the canton Combs-la-Ville to include the municipalities of Combs-la-Ville , Lieusaint , Moissy-Cramayel and Réau .
