Moissy-Cramayel is a French municipality with 17,713 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France near Paris. The inhabitants of the municipality call themselves Moisséens .
Transport and economy
Moissy-Cramayel is the RER D tethered. Moissy-Cramayel is on the A5 autoroute and the Francilienne . In 2017, Zalando opened a logistics center here.

history
The city used to be called Moissy-l'Evesque . In 1643 the village was sold to the Lord von Cramayel (Count of Cramayel) and took the name Moissy-Cramayel. The term moissy comes from the French word moisson for harvest . The urban area is currently part of the Ville nouvelle Sénart .
