Cesson Town Hall

Cesson is a French municipality with 10,418 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Melun and the canton of Savigny-le-Temple (until 2015: canton of Le Mée-sur-Seine ). The inhabitants are called Cessonnais .

geography

Cesson is about forty kilometers southeast of Paris and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Réau in the north, Vert-Saint-Denis in the east, Boissise-la-Bertrand in the south and Savigny-le-Temple and Seine-Port in the west.

To the west of the main town is Saint-Leu.
