Montereau-sur-le-Jard is a French municipality with 516 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . The place is located three kilometers north of Melun on Autoroute 5. Montereau-sur-le-Jard, located on the Jard river, as the name suggests, belongs to the Communauté d'agglomération Melun Val de Seine .

The municipality consists of the towns of Montereau-sur-le-Jard and Aubigny , which were merged in 1842.
