Boissise-la-Bertrand is a French commune with 1,150 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Melun and the canton of Savigny-le-Temple (until 2015: canton of Le Mée-sur-Seine ). The inhabitants are called Boissisiens .

Boissise-la-Bertrand is located on the Seine about 40 kilometers south-southeast of Paris . Boissise-la-Bertrand is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cesson in the north, Vert-Saint-Denis in the north-east, Le Mée-sur-Seine in the east, Boissettes in the east and south-east, Dammarie-les-Lys in the south and south-east, Boissise-le -Roi in the south and west and Seine port in the west and northwest.
