Ozouer-le-Voulgis is a French commune with 1,904 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Melun and the canton of Fontenay-Trésigny (until 2015: canton of Tournan-en-Brie ). The inhabitants are called Ozoueriens .
geography
Ozouer-le-Voulgis is located about 30 kilometers east of Paris on the Yerres , where the Marsange flows from the right and the Avon from the left. Ozouer-le-Voulgis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Courquetaine in the north and north-west, Liverdy-en-Brie in the north, Châtres in the north-east, Chaumes-en-Brie in the east, Yèbles in the south and Soblers in the west.

Between 1973 and 1982 Ozouer-le-Voulgis and Courquetaine together formed the municipality of Ozouer-Courquetaine .
