Boissettes is a French municipality with 401 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Melun and the canton of Savigny-le-Temple (until 2015: canton of Le Mée-sur-Seine ). The inhabitants are called Boissettais .

Boissettes is located on the Seine about 42 km south-southeast of Paris . Boissettes is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boissise-la-Bertrand in the north and west, Le Mée-sur-Seine in the north and north-east and Dammarie-les-Lys in the south and east.
