Saint-Ange-le-Viel (also Saint-Ange-le-Vieil ) is a commune déléguée in the municipality of Villemaréchal with 235 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Seine-et-Marne in the Île-de- France . The residents call themselves Saintangevins or Saintangevines. The village center is located 119 meters above sea level.
The municipality of Saint-Ange-le-Viel merged with Villemaréchal on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Villemaréchal. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Saint-Ange-le-Viel belonged to the canton of Nemours in the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau .
