Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the ten municipalities of Arbonne-la-Forêt , Barbizon , Cély , Chailly-en-Bière , Chartrettes , Fleury-en-Bière , Perthes , Saint-Germain-sur-École , Saint- Martin-en-Bière and Saint-Sauveur-sur-École from the Arrondissement of Melun assigned to the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau.
Instead , the area of the seven municipalities of Blennes , Chevry-en-Sereine , Diant , Montmachoux , Noisy-Rudignon , Thoury-Férottes and Voulx changed from the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau to the Arrondissement of Provins .
