Héricy is a French commune with 2,604 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It is located in the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau and in the Canton of Fontainebleau . The inhabitants are called Héricéens .
geography
Héricy is located on the Seine about 55 kilometers south-southeast of Paris in the Fontainebleau forest . Héricy is surrounded by the neighboring communities Fontaine-la-Port in the north, Féricy in the north and northeast, Machault in the east, Champagne-sur-Seine in the south and southeast, Vulaines-sur-Seine in the south and Samois-sur-Seine in the west.
