Saint-Martin-en-Bière is located about 49 kilometers south-southeast of Paris and about ten kilometers west-northwest of Fontainebleau . The Fontainebleau forest is to the south and east. The municipality is located in the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park . The municipality is surrounded by Fleury-en-Bière in the north and west, Barbizon in the northeast, Fontainebleau in the east and Arbonne-la-Forêt in the south.
