Bourron-Marlotte is located between the Fontainebleau forest and the Loing river . Bourron-Marlotte is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fontainebleau in the north, Montigny-sur-Loing in the east, La Genevraye in the southeast, Grez-sur-Loing in the south and southwest and Recloses in the west.
