Vaux-sur-Lunain is a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau and the Canton of Nemours (until 2015: Canton Lorrez-le-Bocage-Préaux ). The residents call themselves Vauxois or Vauxoises. The municipality borders on Chevry-en-Sereine to the north, Blennes to the east, Chéroy to the south-east, Jouy to the south, Villebéon to the south-west and Lorrez-le-Bocage-Préaux to the north-west .
