Ichy is a French municipality with 166 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Fontainebleau and the Gâtinais-Val de Loing municipal association founded in 2009 . The inhabitants are called Ichichois .
geography
The municipality of Ichy is located on the border with the Loiret department in the Gâtinais countryside , 15 kilometers southwest of Nemours and 23 kilometers east of Pithiviers . The municipal area of 7.8 km² is forestless, almost flat and has neither standing nor flowing water. Ichy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Burcy in the north, Obsonville in the northeast and east, Arville in the south and Bromeilles in the west.
