As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the ten municipalities of Beauchamp , Bessancourt , Eaubonne , Ermont , Franconville , Frépillon , Pierrelaye , Le Plessis-Bouchard , Saint-Leu-la-Forêt and Taverny from the Pontoise arrondissement was assigned to the Argenteuil arrondissement .
