Every year there are at least three exchanges between Niederstetten and Le Plessis-Bouchard (in May / June alternately in France and Germany , in September and in December). Traditionally, residents of Le Plessis-Bouchard organize the so-called wine village during the Niederstetten autumn festival, at which French products are offered. Niederstetten residents take part with a stand at the Advent market in Le Plessis-Bouchard every year.
On the French side, the Comité de Jumelage (town twinning committee) is responsible for maintaining town twinning relationships, and on the German side the Verein für town twinning eV
