Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the six municipalities of Andelu , Bazemont , Herbeville , Mareil-sur-Mauldre , Maule and Montainville was assigned to the arrondissement Saint-Germain-en-Laye by the arrondissement Mantes-la-Jolie .
Instead, the area of the six municipalities of Bailly , Bougival , La Celle-Saint-Cloud , Noisy-le-Roi , Rennemoulin and Villepreux changed from the Arrondissement of Saint-Germain-en-Laye to the Arrondissement of Versailles .
