Montainville is a French municipality with 506 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the canton of Aubergenville . The inhabitants are called Montainvillois .

geography

Montainville is located about 33 kilometers west of Paris near the Mauldre . Montainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Maule in the north, Mareil-sur-Mauldre in the east and northeast, Beynes in the south, Marcq in the southwest and Andelu in the west.
