Orgeval is a French municipality with 6263 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France about 31 kilometers from Paris center. It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Germain-en-Laye .
The name of the community "Orgeval" comes from the Celtic origin Orc , which means "edge of the valley", and from the Latin word Vallis for "valley".
