Mareil-sur-Mauldre is a French commune with 1,706 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the canton of Aubergenville . The inhabitants are called Mareillois .

Mareil-sur-Mauldre is located about 34 kilometers west-northwest of Paris on the Mauldre . Mareil-sur-Mauldre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Herbeville in the north and northeast, Crespières in the east and southeast, Beynes in the south, Montainville in the west and southwest and Maule in the west and northwest.
The former Routes nationales 191 (today's D191) and 307 (today's D307) run through the municipality .
