Damian Abbiate
Damian Abbiate (born March 13, 1979 ) is a retired Argentine weightlifter .
He won the bronze medal in the class up to 94 kg at the South American Championships in Santa Fe in 2000 . At the Pan American Championships in Cali in 2004 , he reached fifth place in the class up to 105 kg in the push, but in the snatch he had no valid attempt. In 2008 he was fifth at the Pan American Championships in Callao . At the Pan American Championships in Chicago in 2009 , he was tested positive for nandrolone in the doping control and banned by the world association IMF for two years.
