The Mauldre is a river in France in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region . It springs near the village Maison Blanche near Cognères , dehydrated generally north through the Regional Nature Park Upper Chevreuse Valley and ends after 35 kilometers at Épône in the island of Ile-de-Rangiport as a left tributary of the Seine .

The river system of the Mauldre, which is heavily branched in the area of the upper reaches, results in flow paths that are longer than the course of the Mauldre itself. The longest river route consists of the 13.7 km long Ruisseau du Lieutel (SANDRE: H3038000), which reaches the Mauldre 10.9 km after its source, and the Mauldre from its mouth to the Seine.
