Maurecourt is a French municipality with 4358 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the canton of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine . Its inhabitants are called Maurecourtois .
geography
Maurecourt is located on the western bank of the River Oise about 32 kilometers northwest of Paris . To the west is the Forêt de l'Hautil. Maurecourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jouy-le-Moutier in the north and north-west, Neuville-sur-Oise in the north and north-east, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine in the east, Andrésy in the south and Triel-sur-Seine in the west.
