Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the two municipalities Montlignon and Saint-Prix was assigned to the arrondissement Sarcelles from the arrondissement Pontoise .
The area of the municipality of Noisy-sur-Oise changed from the Arrondissement Sarcelles to the Arrondissement Pontoise .
history
The Arrondissement of Sarcelles was originally the Arrondissement of Montmorency; the change came with the relocation of the capital to Sarcelles in 2000, completed with the move of the sub-prefecture in 2004.
