Margency is a French commune with 2,887 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Val-d'Oise department of the Île-de-France region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Sarcelles and the canton of Montmorency . The inhabitants call themselves Margencéens .
geography
Margency is about 20 kilometers north of Paris . Margency is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montlignon in the north and northwest, Andilly in the east and northeast and Eaubonne in the south and west.

- La Nativité de la Sainte-Vierge church, originally built in the 15th century, completely remodeled in the 18th century
