Saint-Witz is a French commune with 2,383 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Sarcelles and the canton of Goussainville . The inhabitants are called Wézien (ne) s (also: Vézéen (ne) s ).

Saint-Witz is located about 30 km north-northeast of Paris on the border with the Oise department . Saint-Witz is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Survilliers in the north and north-west, Plailly in the north and east, Vémars in the south and south-east, Villeron in the south and south-west and Marly-la-Ville in the west.
The A1 autoroute leads through the municipality .

The strategic position in the hills of Montmélian on the former trade route from Paris to Flanders favored the development of the place.
