Louvres is a French municipality with 10,337 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Sarcelles and the canton of Goussainville . The inhabitants are called Lupariens .
It is located about 25 kilometers northeast of Paris near Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (2 km). The neighboring municipalities are Goussainville , Puiseux-en-France , Marly-la-Ville , Villeron , Chennevières-lès-Louvres , Épiais-lès-Louvres and Roissy-en-France .
The municipality has a station on the RER D .
