Asnieres-sur-Oise (pronunciation: [a.njɛʁ syʁ waz]) is a French municipality with 2,650 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Sarcelles and the canton of L'Isle-Adam . The inhabitants are called Asnièrois .
geography
Asnières-sur-Oise is located about 31 kilometers north of Paris on the eastern bank of the Oise . Asnières-sur-Oise is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boran-sur-Oise in the north, Lamorlaye in the north and northeast, Coye-la-Forêt in the east, Luzarches in the east and southeast, Viarmes in the southeast, Saint-Martin-du- Tertre in the south, Noisy-sur-Oise in the west, Bruyères-sur-Oise in the north-west.
In the municipality are the Forêt de Carnelle and Forêt de Chantilly .
