Viarmes is a French village with 5175 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Sarcelles in the canton of Fosses . The inhabitants are called Viarmois .
geography
Viarmes is on the edge of the Forêt de Carnelle . Viarmes is surrounded by the neighboring communities Asnières-sur-Oise in the north and north-west, Luzarches in the north-east and south-east, Seugy in the east, Belloy-en-France in the south and Saint-Martin-du-Tertre in the west and south-west.
The former national route 309 and 322 run through the municipality .
