Bellefontaine is a French municipality with 485 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Sarcelles and the Canton of Fosses (until 2015: Canton of Luzarches ). The inhabitants are called Bellifontains .
geography
Bellefontaine is located about 28 kilometers north-northeast of Paris . Bellefontaine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Luzarches in the north and north-west, Fosses in the east, Marly-la-Ville in the east and south-east, Puiseux-en-France in the south-east, Châtenay-en-France in the south, Jagny-sous-Bois in the south-west as well Le Plessis-Luzarches to the west.
The former route nationale 322 (today's D922) runs through the municipality .
