Pigeon tower in Bellefontaine

The pigeon tower (French colombier ) in Bellefontaine , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the second half of the 16th century. The pigeon tower of rubble stone stands in the park of the castle of Bellefontaine.

The round pigeon tower is atypically in the castle park and not in the grounds of a farm, as was common practice. The tower has a large diameter in relation to its height.
