Pigeon tower in Survilliers

The pigeon tower (French colombier ) in Survilliers , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1658 and modified in the 18th century. The pigeon tower made of quarry stone stands on the site of the former Grande Ferme (farm) on Grande rue.

The round pigeon tower has a diameter of about six meters. The ground floor is spanned by a vault supported by a central column. On the inside of the dovecote there were around 2500 clay nests for the pigeons. In 2009 the tower was renovated.
