The pigeon tower (French colombier) in Haravilliers , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , is a pigeon tower that was built in the 17th century. The building on Rue du Colombier has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1978 .

description

The round tower consists of quarry stone and house stones , which are inserted horizontally at regular intervals to structure the facade and reinforce the masonry. A cornice separates the two floors. The openings, which are all on the same side, are rectangular. The pigeon tower is covered by a roof with flat tiles. Inside, a central pillar supports the false ceiling.
