Deuil-la-Barre is a French commune with 22,306 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) about 15 km northwest of Paris in the Val-d'Oise department . The inhabitants are called Deuillois .
location
The city is in a favorable geographical position at 40 to 110 m above sea level on an area of 376 hectares with wooded hills and orchards; it has two stations, which are served by line H of the Transilien local trains, and is bordered by the departmental roads 311 in the north and 928 in the south.
history
The place has been documented since the 14th century . In 1789 he became a township. For centuries it was largely shaped by viticulture , until industrialization began at the end of the 19th century .
